Goodbye Mama D – We love you!
Posted by Brandon Harrison | Filed under News

Yesterday we had the opportunity to throw a goodbye party for our cook, Mama D, who spent her last day on staff with us. For the past four years, Mama D (Diane Comstock) has poured her life into cooking and serving us here at Go Ministries. She has been such a blessing to our ministry and we are so grateful, not just for all the delicious meals she’s cooked for us, but for the love and faithfulness she lived out on a day-to-day basis. It’s a big job to feed all of us and yet she never ceased to have a smile on her face. We are looking forward to the next season in her life and know that God will use her greatly!
God has provided supernatural provision for a new cook (hallelujah!) but the details definitely deserve a post all in it’s own. So, keep an eye out for the post within the next month!
Snowing and Bowling

What’d you wake up to this morning? Well, we woke up to a good ‘ole fashion Minnesota surprise – snow!!! I’d say it is slightly early for snow, even for Minnesota, but nonetheless it has been very entertaining. Today all the home team is ripping up trees and all sorts of greenery, well, orangish-yellowie-greenerie to be exact. While the guys were busy working, the girls were having fun rolling and sliding in the mud – ok, so maybe they did work, they just weren’t at the time I was filming this (oops). In fact, the girls were playing a now Go Ministries classic, human bowling (started by the road team last year). We’re working today to clear out a nice big area at Champion Ranch that leads down to the horse barn and field. Once more snow arrives (which hopefully won’t be soon), I’m sure this new hill will quickly turn into a large sledding hill for all our red-necking needs… I mean, for all our responsible, safe, leisurely, winter sledding activities
And they’re off…

The road team left for their first tour late Sunday night! They are presently invading Dodge City, KS and for the next month will also be in Oklahoma, Tennessee, Missouri and Illinois. Make sure you check the calendar to see if they’ll be in your area! Also, I just wanted to let all of you know that we’ve been receiving your comments and have been passing on all the love and shout-outs to the interns. Above all, we are so appreciative for your prayers! Just to see all the comments from people all over the country interceding and praying for us is so encouraging and humbling. Words really can’t describe the gratefulness we have in our hearts for you. Never forget that as you partner with us, you share in all the credit for the lives that are being saved and touched day by day. In fact, one day you’ll be thanked by thousands you never even knew…
