Road Team Returns!

We’re on a roll!

So the Road Team came home and of course, we celebrated with a sweet medieval party. We served the food on the table without any plates or silverware (that’s the only way to go). After a full day of work and setting up, we honored our bros and sisses with one of the sweetest parties we’ve thrown yet (the food was the best part.)

Enjoy!

The RTT is on the road for the second tour of the year! Everything is going great. Be on the look out for them in your area of the country. Here is a little bit of what they have been doing lately!
See you guys soon.

The Southern Tour

On January 28 the road team left for a 68 day tour we like to call the southern tour (The South = our favorite place to be during those cold Minnesota months). The final days of the tour were spent in Iowa (not so southern) before we went home to see the 5-fold. We are currently finishing up our west cost tour and are excited to see the 5-fold again after 65 days. With only one week between the southern tour and west coast tour the whole road team feels as if it has been one giant 5 month Invasion. But just because we are home does not mean we stop, when we get back to the ranch the drama team will start preparing for the large summer conferences such as Champion 4 Christ and the Southwest Believers Convention and the worship team will begin to record the new album. Stay tuned for more invasion action.

Extreme Makeover: Children’s Church Edition

The School of Art & Design (myself, my wife – Jenna, Leah & Davina) just got back last night from re-designing a children’s room for Family Worship Center down in Carrollton, KY!  The children’s room was huge – about 60ft long and one side of the room had walls that were 15ft tall! It took a lot of hard work and almost 60 hours to complete the whole project but we finished just in time.  There were plenty of fun and crazy moments from me spilling a ton of black paint on the carpet to driving with a 16ft piece of lumber in my mid-sized truck that only has a 5ft bed!  We had an absolute blast and are so happy with the results – and so are the kids, which is what matters the most.  Not only did we get to design the children’s room but I was also blessed to work on a few logo projects for the church.  I also had the opportunity to preach at their youth group on Wednesday night, which was such an honor and so much fun!  We had never done something like this in Go Ministries / The School of Art & Design before, but I believe we will be doing much more of this for churches in the future!  Here are some pictures of us working away as well as some of the main final pieces of the designs:

Basketball Fundraiser

Basketball Fundraiser

This past Saturday night we played some of the Living Word staff in our first basketball game fundraiser.  We had a great turnout and had an absolute blast!  We made tons of concessions from popcorn and cotton candy to cookies and coffee.  Not only was the night fun (and delicious), but in the process we raised over $1,100 towards intern tuition!  We’re definitely going to do this event annually and trust me – it’s going to get bigger and better every year!  It was tough playing without the other half of our team though (the road team).  Not only because we missed them but we really could have used more players!  ;)   Thank you to everybody who came out and made this event so much fun!  And, a special thank you to the Living Word staff who volunteered their Saturday night to help us raise money – we had a blast playing with you guys!  We can’t wait to do this again next year!

Fun on the Road

Hey Guys,
We were at a skate park in West Plains, Mo just hanging out. This video is the result of some random footage from that day and some free time in the studio. OOOOOOYah!! Thats right!! We said studio. Abandoned is in the studio recording another CD. It’s been two years in the making and we cant wait for you all to hear the stuff God has been giving us for this CD. So keep watching for the first studio blog.
See you all soon,

Hey all,

We are currently in Carrollton, IL! We just did a school assembly tonight followed by a service at the church and 86 kids got saved!!!  God is doing awesome stuff and we have just started the tour.  We will be on the road for about 60 days, traveling all over the US and Canada.  Check the itinerary to see if we’re in your area.  Five fold we miss you and can’t wait to see your beautiful faces (in 60 days).

Hope you enjoy the new blog.  Caleb has been working hard on this one!

Hey guys, its Caleb here. I’ve had a blast making the blogs and I hope you enjoy this one. When you watch the blog, make sure you look for the tears in Jared’s eyes (he was really crying).  I will keep making more so you all can be in on the road action.

Love you all,
